Avoiding Hair Loss with Natural Remedies

Natural Remedies for Hair Loss

Hair loss is one of those things that we all try to avoid. Though hair loss usually affects men, women can also be affected by hair loss as they age. However, some degree of hair loss can be reversed naturally, and more hair fallout can be prevented without plastic surgery or procedure.

Fish Oil Supplements

Fish oil is a supplement, usually taken in pill form, containing lots of omega fatty acids. When taken hand-in-hand with plenty of antioxidants (which you can find in fruits and veggies), the fish oil helps to improve the existing porosity and density of the hair currently on your head and boosts new hair growth. As an added bonus, fish oil helps increase immune system function!

Onion Juice

Though not precisely great-smelling, onion juice has been shown to treat milder forms of alopecia in both humans and animals by increasing blood circulation to the hair follicles. Onion can also boost keratin production (the stuff your hair is made of), allowing your hair to grow back faster than before. Simply blend up a peeled onion and then strain to get out all the juice. Next, massage into your scalp and let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse off and shampoo as usual.

Scalp Massager

Using a scalp massager brush can have excellent hair loss results! The brush stimulates the hair follicles and the skin to increase blood flow and circulation to the head. It also exfoliates the scalp, reducing dandruff, increasing new cell turnover for a happy head, and increasing hair thickness for a fuller look.

Additionally, a scalp massager brush can reduce tension headaches and relieve feelings of stress by helping you relax. We can’t recommend this remedy enough! Try it out yourself, you can find our Scalp Massager Brush here.
